Meet Dr. Corinne Ehlinger
Founder | Doctor of Physical Therapy
I created Flow Physical Therapy with one goal in mind—to help people move freely and find their flow.
Flow state is a state of complete immersion where focus, movement, and performance feel natural and effortless. It occurs when challenge and skill are perfectly balanced, leading to optimal performance. At Flow Physical Therapy, my mission is to help you achieve that state—moving without restriction, pain, or dysfunction.
My Journey
I earned my degree in Physiology and Neuroscience and Spanish Literature from the University of California, San Diego, where I was a member of both the Swimming & Diving and Surfing teams. During college, I spent a year abroad in Granada, Spain, studying at a physical therapy school and working with soccer players—an experience that deepened my passion for sports rehabilitation.
After graduating, I spent five years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and swim and triathlon coach in Los Angeles. Wanting to make a greater impact and expand my expertise in injury rehabilitation, I pursued my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California, graduating in 2019.
In 2023, I founded Flow Physical Therapy, inspired by the belief that movement should feel effortless, strong, and natural—just like being in a state of flow. My treatment philosophy is rooted in a whole-body approach—identifying the root cause of dysfunction and restoring optimal movement patterns so you can move, feel, and perform at your best.
Se habla español. I am fluent in Spanish and happy to provide care to Spanish-speaking patients.
My Approach
At Flow PT, I believe in:
✔ Whole-Body Healing – Pain isn’t always just about the area that hurts—it’s often a result of how your entire body moves and functions together. I take a comprehensive approach to treatment, assessing movement patterns, posture, and muscular imbalances to uncover the root cause of pain and dysfunction. By addressing the body as a whole, we can create long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.
✔ Personalized Care – I take a very hands-on approach to therapeutic exercise, ensuring the correct muscles are activated, your form is precise, and compensations are eliminated. I also incorporate a variety of manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, release restrictions, and enhance movement efficiency.
✔ Empowerment Through Movement – I believe that understanding your body is key to recovery, so I take the time to educate you about your anatomy, physiology, and the muscular imbalances contributing to your injury. My goal is to ensure you not only heal but also feel confident in managing your symptoms, preventing future injuries or flares.
Specialties & Expertise
I work with a wide range of patients, from babies to older adults, tailoring my approach to your unique needs. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve performance, I provide targeted care to help you move better.
I specialize in working with athletes, particularly runners, swimmers, and skiers/snowboarders, focusing on injury prevention, efficient recovery, and performance enhancement. I also have expertise in post-surgical rehabilitation, collaborating closely with local surgeons.
I particularly enjoy working with individuals dealing with back, shoulder, neck, and hip pain, addressing movement dysfunctions to restore mobility and strength.
I’m passionate about helping postpartum women regain strength and confidence after childbirth—a journey I understand firsthand after welcoming my baby, Theo, in August 2024.

★★★★★
I don’t know what I would have done without getting help from Corinne! I stay pretty active and seem to always be injuring myself. Corinne has helped me learn how to recover better and done some amazing hands on therapy for my shoulders, knees, and back that saved me from some intense pain and helped me recover quickly so I could keep playing soccer and snowboarding. Highly recommend her for your PT needs!
